I prefer to use local woods and quality hardware. Each piece of wood is unique in its visual aspect and tonal qualities. No two instruments are alike. Each has its own style and tone depending on the parts selected.

Regardless if the wood was salvaged from the bottom of Lake Superior or was used as timbers in a century old mill, each instrument has its own story and voice.
